Following the sacked of Dr, Dauda Lawal Dare from contesting the number one seat in Zamfara State under the platform of the people Democratic party PDP by the Sokoto appeal court today, it was reported that Lawal Dare has demanded the refund of 10 billion Naira campaign funds which he Dauda gave to General as his trustworthy and political godfather to share to all the PDP aspirants in the State for 2023
general elections.
It was also gathered from a close Ally of General Ali Mohammed Gusau that, the said 10 billion Naira campaign funds recieved from Dauda Lawal has since been shared to some selected PDP aspirants in the State, among the beneficiaries are, the famous bandits negotiator younger brother a member representing Gummi Bukkuyum Federal constituency Engineer Suleiman Abubakar Gummi and Alhaji Aliyu Ikra Bil Bis who is contesting for Zamfara Central under PDP.
When contacted, Engineer Suleiman Abubakar Gummi confirmed the recieved of only 1billion, His words: "yes I can confirmed to His Excellency Dr, Lawal Dare that I received the sum of 1 billion Naira from Baba Aliyu Mohammed Gusau and the said amount was used to purchased campaign vehicles and Mass mobilization the records are intact Hon. Sulaiman insist.
In the same development, a source who begged for his name to not appear in print but only identified himself as Shehu Tsafe confirmed that Aliyu Ikra BilBis collected the sum of 1.5 billion Naira from General Gusau to holistically fight Senator Kabiru Marafa who is seeking to represent Zamfara Central under the platform of APC for the upcoming 2023 general elections.
As of the time of filling this report, Alhaji Maibuhu Gummi had since returned the sum of N 800,000,000 to Dr, Dauda Lawal Dare out of one billion Naira he recieved from General Ali Mohammed Gusau last week to deliver Gummi and Bukkuyum local governments to the PDP meanwhile, General Ali Mohammed Gusau and Dr, Dauda Lawal Dare residences are filled to capacity with sympathizers following the dismissal of Dr, Dauda appeal from contesting governorship in Zamfara State.
